- 02/02/01 - Shimera is in the final stages of their debut CD Bloodpact, recorded late 2000 at Morrisound Studios, and engineered by Jim Morris. The CD features 8 tracks: 1. Bloodpact, 2. Virus, 3. Elder Ones, 4. The Four, 5. Lawmen, 6. The Rotting of Christ, 7. Raping of Children, 8. Willpower. Free sampler CDs will be given away as a promotion from Shimera.com. As soon as the CD is released Shimera will resume playout dates. James commented on these matters in early January of 2001 "We cannot wait to return to the stage and tour, but the time we took off helped us produce a product we are proud of. We plan to network with some great Metal bands to give the best shows possible. All three of us are burning to smash some skulls and carry the flag of Metal wherever we go!" - 10/24/98 - Look! Shimera has a web page!! Tonight was the Halloween party where we officially unveiled the web page to the members of Shimera. Everyone had a great time, and we drank until we fell down. Rinse. Repeat.
